The Descendant of Thieves customized AF1 "Shattered Swoosh" first took shape as a personal project of our creative director, beginning with an idea to reimagine a classic sneaker. He sought to infuse personal artistry into the sneaker, just as he does with every piece of Descendant of Thieves clothing. Soon, these custom AF1 sneakers evolved into our team uniform—a testament to individuality.

Each pair is customized at our NYC studio, which is more than just a workspace—it's a place of innovation and artistic collaboration. The team immerses themselves in the creative process, from conceptual sketches to the final handcrafted product. The time-intensive process ensures that no two pairs are exactly alike. Subtle differences in each creation highlight the artisanal quality of work.

While this customization project is off-the-grid and not affiliated with Nike, it stands as a respectful salute to their influential role in shaping sneaker culture.
